Things I did in 2014-
1. We took in a beautiful Quarter horse.
2. I went ice skating for the first time ever.
3. I had my hair low lighted.
4. I read the whole O'malley Series.
5. We went to the N.C. state fair for the first time.
6. I took a cake decorating class with my mom.
7. I made two incredible new friends.
8. We went to the Charlie Poole festival and heard some amazing music.
9. I tried black cherry ice cream. (YUM)
10. We rescued a baby bird.
11. I picked up my banjo again.
12. My job changed.
13. We took a road trip.
14. I became a complete coffee nut.
Things I learned from 2014-1. If you want something in life,you have to go after it.
2. It is ok to be different. Being different is what makes you who you are.
3. Life can be a really hard thing sometimes.
4. I learned that stressing out never helps a tough situation. (working on it.)
5. I realized the importance of being kind to those around me,no matter how I feel. I want to apply this to everyday of my life.
6. My parents are the best advisers.
7. Over-thinking is bad for your soul,mind,and body.
8. Life is too short to worry.
9. Enjoy the little things.
10. Don't miss today's precious moments,thinking about tomorrow.
11. Simple is better.
Things I loved about 2014-
1. Foggy mornings spent at home.
2. Sitting with my family around the fire pit telling stories.
3. Watching my little sister grow up.
4. Grocery shopping.
5. Taking excursions alone,with my camera for company.
6. Driving the back roads,listening to my music on LOUD.
7. Paddling down the river.
8. Crawling on the ground to take photos of a beautiful little baby.
9. Looking back through our family's old photographs.
10. Being surrounded by people who love me.
2015 is reaching for us. She is here with arms outstretched,ready for us to leave the old behind. No matter what you may be leaving in this old year,know that this is a fresh page. I choose to go into this year with a positive spirit. 2014 was good. So good. I leave behind memories that I will never forget,and I go forward with a hopeful heart. So here's to you 2015. We are ready for you.
