12/13/2014 | December Favorites

Some things I am loving:

1:These things saved my life in the "chip" department. They have all different flavors, but the sweet chili is my favorite, hands down.

2:On repeat at my house. I have watched Sabrina at least five times since I bought it on Monday. I know guys,I know.

3:I know a lady that makes these amazing soy candles. They smell incredible, even when they aren't burning. The "Love Spell" and "Hansel and Gretel House" are the best!

4:Maybelline lipsticks are the bomb. "Fire Red" is my favorite of all times!!! And also,I found that adorable little lady at Goodwill. I don't know anything about her other than that she is collectible. My sister says she looks like Mrs. Banks from Mary Poppins.

12/05/2014 | Chocolate Bunnies

Once upon a time,a girl with a can of gold spray paint, painted an old, white mirror. It covered all the ugly stains, and it matched the walls and the her brand new vintage chair. This little escapade was followed by a trip to Goodwill, where she found two adorable little bunnies. Sadly, they were quite a bit faded,so she reached for her trusty gold spray paint. Now she has two sweet little chocolate bunnies to love all year long.

The end.

Antique adventure

(This little fella came home with me. He was just too sweet!)

My mom and I went antique shopping a couple of weeks ago. There was some fantastic finds! Of course I couldn't bring it all home, but I found a few lovely things, tucked away in the corners all alone. I want a house full of old things. Not two days after this shopping trip,we got wind of an estate sale right down the road! I had never been to one before, and found it fascinating. It was so touching to walk through someone's home and see their life's collections. I found it sad that the woman's family would sell all her beautiful belongings and keepsakes to complete strangers. But on the bright side,we came home with some great finds which I will cherish forever,in remembrance of a woman I've never met.
What?
