08/05/14 | Camping

  • I mentioned  that our family camping trip that we took last week got rained out,but I thought I would share the pictures that I got between the rain. We had a pretty good time, besides getting drenched, but sometimes mishaps make the best memories.
  • One of my favorite things about camping is sitting around a campfire, roasting marshmallows. It has to be one of the most comforting and peaceful things in the world.
  • I shot a whole roll of film! I am over the moon excited to be getting back to shooting some film! I have very little experience, but practice makes perfect right? I can't wait to get those babies developed.
  • I have turned into a terrible night owl, which is why I am posting this now,and sleeping in tomorrow. Goodnight.

Carnival Vibes

A few pictures from the carnival that came through our town a few weeks ago. The carnival hasn't been in town since I was little. I was so excited when I saw them setting up! They are pretty big rip-offs if you go to ride rides or play games. We just went to walk around and take pictures….except for the game my sister spent $5 on. The food smelt scrumptious, but we settled for some ice-cream from the store across the street:p We are big spenders aren't we? :P It was a little bright for pictures, but the ones that I salvaged I just loved the colors! So long carnival. Do come again!

Down to the river

Stunner

We went down to the river today. There is nothing quite so relaxing on a hot, sticky summer evening, than to go down and sit by the river. It's such a peaceful place to think. These summer days make me want to go watch Sandlot, drink loads of lemonade, and go floating with my nose in a book. Oh how I love these summer vibes!

Eleven

You are sweet, strong, independent, and honest. You listen well. You talk a lot. You ask way too many questions. You are precious. You are an artist. You are a cowgirl. You have the biggest imagination of any girl I've known. And now your eleven.
I love you sweet sister.
